Hey everyone! I’m back with another outfit post. As we get further and further into November, I’m starting to worry about it getting too cold to take pictures outside. WINTER IS COMING. Snow will be here soon! What will I do? How will I get my content for outfit posts?! Well the better question is: How will I get content for outfit posts without getting sick lol? I apologize in advance, but it might have to be mirror pics.
Today I have an outfit taken outside on a cloudy day. It wasn’t freezing but it wasn’t exactly warm either. I had to take the opportunity to wear this dress without tights. Have you ever had a long t-shirt dress, wore tights underneath, and had it cling EVERYWHERE? That’s what I was trying to avoid. I think that if I’m ever going to wear this dress in the winter, I’m wearing jeans.
Anyways, for this outfit I wore a cute t-shirt maxi dress with a slit on the side. It’s a Rolling Stones graphic t-shirt maxi dress from Free People. If you’d like to view it on their website (because it comes in so many other colours!), I’ll link it here: https://www.freepeople.com/shop/rolling-stones-89-rolled-sleeve-maxi-top/?category=SEARCHRESULTS&color=001&searchparams=q%3Drolling%2520stones&type=REGULAR&quantity=1
I love this dress. It’s so comfy, and I can eat whatever I want in it and still look slim lol. I think it’ll be a great layering piece in the winter time (like over a turtleneck and jeans). For this look though, I wore it by itself with this sparkly cropped denim jacket that I got from TOPSHOP a couple of years ago. I think I look so “rock ‘n’ roll”, especially with my chunky new Dr. Marten boots as well. These boots were returned to our Free People location in MY shoe size (a women’s size 5). If you’re new here, you don’t know this but I have the TOUGHEST time finding cool shoes in my size. So I bought them. This puts me at two pairs of Dr. Marten boots in my wardrobe now! I went from being a sad Dr. Marten-less girl for many years, to now having TWO PAIRS in like, 3 months. Isn’t life funny lol? I guess patience is key or good things really do come to those who wait.
The one problem, and don’t make fun of me, was picking the colour of socks to wear. But I think these yellow ones went well with the stitching on the boots and were a great contrast to the red on the dress! What do you think? Do you guys pay attention to every detail of an outfit or am I completely nuts? I mean, I am nuts. But does this make me even worse lol?
Now have I forgotten anything? I think the last few bits to this outfit are the accessories. I wore my Nunoo Lin bag because I think it complimented the whole “rock ‘n’ roll” and edgy vibe. I wore my chain necklaces from that Korean boutique on Queen Street West that I talk about ALL THE TIME: Durumi (@thedurumi). The earrings are those hoops I can’t seem to take off from Mejuri… and I think that’s it!

NECKLACES – Durumi
EARRINGS – Mejuri
BAG – Nunoo
There you have it, probably one of the last few outfit posts without snow or a huge and heavy winter coat. Sometimes it’s difficult living in Canada, but I think things could definitely be worse. The sooner winter is here, the sooner spring will get here! At least that’s how I look at it lol.
I hope you’re all healthy, safe, and doing well!
Until next time,
– Tiny ❤
