Cozy Fall Picnic

Since we had our first snow fall a couple of days ago, these photos and this picnic date feels like it was forever ago. I definitely wouldn’t consider going on any kind of picnic outside right now lol. But have you ever been on a picnic in the fall? With a growing pandemic and very few options for dates these days, my boyfriend and I went on a picnic. It was comfortable weather for this sweatsuit but if it got any colder, I would have needed a jacket. We ordered some sandwiches, a coffee for him, and a matcha latte for me, and went to the park in my neighbourhood.

There were so many leaves, like leaves EVERYWHERE. It was actually kind of pretty with the sun shining. Anyways, my first fall picnic was a success and I would do it again. I highly recommend it! Just grab a blanket, some hot beverages, some snacks, and you’re good to go! It’s really cozy, and since it can get a little chilly, you have the perfect excuse to cuddle (I’m big on cuddling).

Now the main reason I’m writing this post is to share with you one of the best sweatsuits I have in my wardrobe right now. I picked up this set from Oak and Fort. I don’t own much from Oak and Fort but my boss bought this sweatsuit in a different colour and when I saw it, I needed to have it. I love this cream colour. It’s a little risky because I feel like I could get it dirty pretty easily, but I’ve been pretty lucky with it so far! I love that the sweater is a half zip. I love that it’s cropped. I just think this sweatsuit fits so well considering how petite I am!

The thing I love most of all about sweatsuits is that they’re like a dress or a jumpsuit, or any other matching set where the only thing you need to worry about is accessorizing. You guys know I love my accessories. For this outfit, I kept it minimal. Since it was sunny, I wore these cat-eye sunglasses from Free People. I wore my infamous Mejuri chunky hoops and my favourite boots by Vagabond. And the main and most important accessory: my early Christmas gift to myself, another Nunoo. This is the Bobby bag from Nunoo. I’m totally obsessed! I love the shape because it holds everything I want and more. I also love the colour because I think it’s such a great every day shade. You guys know I’m nuts. We’ve discussed this in my last blog post. But I feel like it’s time to record an updated “What In My Bag” video? Do you agree? Let me know in the comment section below!

SWEATER – Oak and Fort

SWEATPANTS – Oak and Fort

BOOTS – Vagabond

JEWELRY – Mejuri

Okay, that’s it for today! A little update is that I am officially in lockdown in Toronto. It started on Monday, which means much more time for content! The last lockdown was new and overwhelming, but I think I can handle it the second time around. Some tips that I have learned are that I need fresh air, I need routine, and I have to make sure I contact someone when I’m feeling lonely. I also have to keep reminding myself that it’s okay to spend a day doing nothing. Do any of you have this problem? I get so down on myself if I spend a day at home and haven’t accomplished a single thing. It feels like such a waste! I’ve kind of always been hard on myself in this sense, but I’m trying my best to work on it. It definitely can get messy though, and that’s okay.

I hope you’re all safe and well,

– Tiny ❤
