HOLY MOLY! It’s been such a struggle to get content lately. The sun is never out and my photographer (AKA my boyfriend) has been busy moving this past week. But I did manage to get some photos on his moving day! Leave it to me to always weasel my way into getting him to take a few photos of me ha-ha. It was really nice of him to pause getting settled to get me some content. He just gets me. We love a supportive man! Or should I call him “the yin to my yang”?

So here are some quick outfit photos! Between you and me, I sort of made sure I looked cute in case we were able to take some photos ;(LOL). I also hadn’t seen him in a long time so I wanted to look my best, even if the plans were only to unpack all day. I’ve been dating him for almost 4 years and I still want to look nice for him. Do you still put effort when you’ve been dating for a while? I guess if I’m being honest, I’m doing it for me too. I’m happier when I look my best!

For this outfit, I really just wanted to show you guys my cute new tote bag. It’s this adorable fuzzy yin and yang bag (does the title and everything make sense now?) that I got with a matching scarf from Free People. They’re so cute!!! I can fit so much into this bag (even if it’s just yarn and books right now #lockdownlife).

The rest of the look is pretty simple. I wore my favourite “Wide Crop” jeans from TOPSHOP that I got a long time ago (it has to be at least 3 years ago). I wore this blouse I got for $15 CAD (!!!) from Free People. You can’t see it very well in this outfit but I will wear it again to show you guys the amazing collar on this top. It’s one of those big dramatic pointy collars that’s trending right now, and I’m so happy that I got it for such a great price. For shoes, I wore the Golas that I can’t stop raving about. I seriously want to get another pair. They’re super comfy and I literally wear them all the time. They’re also pink, which makes me love them even more.

Speaking of pink!!! I can’t forget my pink beret that I also picked up from TOPSHOP ages ago. It’s one of those pieces that I don’t think I’ll ever let go of. You guys know I have a growing beret collection and this pink one is one of my absolute favourites. It’s perfect when I’m looking for that pop of colour.

I can’t believe that I’ve almost forgot the best part! I picked up this jacket ages ago. I remember the day I got it like it was yesterday. I also remember the first blog post that I wrote about it. Guys, this jacket was such a steal. I got this faux fur jacket from Urban Outfitters for like $20. I swear it was something cheap like that and the original price was more than $150. I’m never letting this baby go!

Also, I don’t know if you guys have noticed the braid in my hair? I’m seeing it done on Instagram so I thought I would try it. I think I dig it! What do you guys think? Either than the fact that it’s hard to brush your hair with a braid in, I really like how it adds something more to my look.
