Tiny In Toronto

I think we can all understand that the only thing we’re seeing these days is our mirror. Toronto just announced further restrictions yesterday. Covid-19 just isn’t going away and unfortunately, that means I’m not going anywhere either. So here’s another “lockdown look”!

I picked up this adorable dress from work when we had this amazing sale of an additional 50% off all of our sale items. I think this sale was around Boxing Day (they might be all sold out now). This dress was a return in my size and of course, I just had to try it. I think I got it for $30 or less! That’s such a good price for Free People. A dress from their brand averages at about $168 CAD. It’s made in a cream denim material. I am absolutely in love with the dramatic shoulders. The belt gives great definition around the waist and I think it’ll be so lovely with some cute sandals or even sneakers in the the summertime. It’s a great piece and like I said, you just can’t beat the price!

Last week there was a sunny day (they’re hard to come by during the winter lol) and that basically meant that it was the perfect day to get some content. Sunny days are the perfect days to take photos because whether it be outside or in my bedroom, the natural lighting is just a million times better. These photos were obviously taken inside. I really wanted to wear this dress (because I miss wearing dresses SO MUCH) and my bare legs would have fallen off if I even dared to go outside.

I’ve talked about this multiple times but dresses are one of the easiest pieces in your wardrobe to style. All you need are accessories! This is another reason why I miss wearing dresses so much (summer, please come sooner!). Are you guys obsessed with the summertime as much as I am? I feel lost without the sun!

The accessories I chose for this outfit are: my pearl “crown”, my Mejuri jewelry, my OMW bag, cute socks from Free People, and my Zara loafers (they’re also my favourite shoes right now). The pearl headband that I call my crown (for obvious reasons) is one of my best Amazon purchases I’ve made to this day. I have worn it so much and have definitely made it worth the $15 CAD. I got it last year so I’m not sure if it’s still available, but I’d honestly just search “pearl headband” and it should come up! I’ve talked about my Mejuri jewelry a lot. They’re my favourite everyday jewelry brand. I’ve never been disappointed. I’m wearing two necklaces, three rings, and a pair of earrings from them in this outfit. My OMW bag was mentioned in my last outfit post so I won’t repeat myself too much. It’s this brand from Vancouver, Canada that sells these beautifully handmade bags. I’m so obsessed with the one that I got that I’m considering adding another to my gigantic bag collection. Do I need another? Probably not. But OMW actually offers a much larger and practical version of this bag that might be worth it, well sort of worth it ha-ha. I definitely don’t need anymore bags!

These cute printed socks with a ruffled trim are from Free People. We have the cutest socks and I feel like I’ve said this before but it’s not a lie! They’re super cute and great with shoes like the pair that I’m wearing in this outfit. Cute socks and loafers are completely my vibe right now. I’m warning you, you might start to see a lot more of this.

Another thing that I should warn you, but it’s probably obvious, is that there are going to be a lot more outfit posts of me in my mirror. At this point, it’s all I have. Getting dressed up for my mirror is what’s keeping your fashion-loving girl sane. I quite like it because the options are endless. Weather isn’t a factor which is really nice. But yeah, here’s the first of many looks in front of the mirror that I found on Kijiji years ago (probably my best find tbh lol).
