Okay, but how cool are these pants?! These, my friends, were purchased straight out of the shipment box at Free People. I just knew I had to have these unique pants in my life. I think by now you guys know that I *kind of* have a shopping problem. But it’s hard not to buy anything when you’re surrounded by such cute clothes all day long!
These are Free People’s “Sun In The West” pants. They’re supposed to be a cropped pair of pants but you know, I’m tiny and therefore everything touches the floor on me. Thankfully, I got some platform boots this season so it’s not something that can’t be fixed lol. To pair with these pants, I wore this Victorian-inspired (I don’t even know if this is the right word for it?) top with lots of ruffles. I’m actually in love with it so much and I have worn it with so many things lately (overalls, jeans, etc.). This top is also from Free People and if you would like to check it out, it’s called the “Walk In The Park” top. Have you been seeing a lot of dramatic collars like this, or is it just me? I’m seeing them all over my Instagram feed and I’m loving it a lot. This top might have started a new obsession!
For accessories, I added this thrifted bag from Value Village. I really felt like it fit the whole “grandma vibe” I had going on lol. Like I said earlier, these pants require a bit of a boost so I made sure to wear my favourite platform boots by Vagabond that I got this year from Little Burgundy. Now that I look at these photos more, this really is a grandma vibe! The pants kind of look like a grandmother’s couch, no? But in a cool way? I guess it could also be considered bohemian, but I like grandma better.
The final touches are my Mejuri jewels that I’ve talked about time and time again. You guys know how much I love my Mejuri jewelry. I wore my chunky hoops (again lol), and that pretty much complete’s this outfit!

I know I’ve made a lot of grandmother references in this post but I’m going to be honest and say that I have felt like I’ve aged a lot this year. A lot has happened in the world in 2020 and it has opened my eyes and helped me realize what’s most important. I’ve also taken up crocheting and started knitting again, so maybe I am becoming a grandma at the age of 27? I’m definitely not complaining though. I’m happy with the way I am now. I’ve become a homebody and I don’t need to go out anymore. I have so many fun hobbies now and I’ve kept those I love most real close. It’s all I need.
I hope that you guys can make the most out of this holiday season. How have you been preparing for Christmas? I want to make cookies this week. I’m almost finished our tree. I just have to create a few more ornaments. Would you like me to share it? Have you guys finished your Christmas shopping? This year, my family is minimizing the amount of gifts that we exchange and have chosen to do a Secret Santa. The pandemic and two lockdowns haven’t been easy on our wallets as well, so this felt like a great idea all around. Please let me know what you’re doing for Christmas or in preparation for Christmas in the comment section below! I’d love to read it!
Hope you’re all safe and well,
– Tiny ❤
