HAPPY WHEREVER THERE’S A RAINBOW

Hello, hello! I’m back with another exciting crochet project complete! I can’t believe that I’m making these things with my own two hands. Honestly, I feel like I’ve said this before, but there is no better feeling than making something yourself. It is such a rewarding feeling! I want to make everything. I want to learn how to knit projects as well. I have my eye on some things I saw online that I would like to recreate. For example, Zara has this really cute knitted bag that I want to make myself. When I look at things that are knitted or crocheted in-stores now, I think: “Omg, I could do that!” It’s so much fun! I highly recommend and encourage you to try crocheting or knitting if it’s something you’ve always wanted to try. It’s something I will never regret teaching myself. I may get serious carpel tunnel in the long run (my boyfriend and mother are concerned that I’m going to hurt my hands if I don’t take enough breaks) but still no regrets!

Here is a rainbow sweater with these tiny clouds on the front that was originally designed by this lovely lady on YouTube. Her name is Rabeyah and you can follow her video here: https://youtu.be/Kv2zL6BaGAw

I used slightly different colours for my sweater and different yarn. I obviously had different measurements as well, but this was the best guideline for my first ever pullover sweater. I actually wore it to work the day after I made it, and a customer has asked me to make her one! I can’t believe it! I’m in the process in getting her colours and measurements but I’m still shocked that someone wants me to make them a sweater, and is willing to pay me for it. I’m like, stunned. I’m still on the fence about creating a Etsy shop or an Instagram to sell my crochet pieces. I feel like there’s still lots that I could learn, but what do you guys think? I’m really struggling here and if you’re an entrepreneur or have your own small business, what do you think I should do?

For this outfit, I thought about wearing jeans, then my boyfriend suggested these pants and I decided I liked them much more lol. These pants are from TOPSHOP Petite. I haven’t talked about their Petite section in a while but I really love everything in that section of theirs. Everything just hits the right spots. I don’t need to hem anything and that’s a rarity for me. It’s perfect! For shoes, I wore my current favourite sneakers which are these Golas that I purchased from Free People. What I love most about them is that not only are they pink but they’re so comfortable! I don’t know about you but I’ve never heard of Gola before. I think they were a great find and if you’re interested, you should definitely pick a pair up!

The last few bits of this outfit are the same as my last outfit post. This gorgeous new bag from Nunoo that I can’t get enough of. It’s rare for me to fit a full-on book in one of my bags (I usually carry a book in my hand) but this bag fits one! I’ve been toting around this book about chess because of The Queen’s Gambit ha-ha. Last but not least, I added my chunky hoops from Mejuri! If you don’t follow me on Instagram, I partnered with them for their Black Friday Sale. It’s their biggest sale of the year and it’s going on now until Monday at midnight. You NEED to take advantage of this. If you’ve been wanting some every day staples, check out Mejuri!

Their sale is: Buy 1, get 10% off. Buy 2, get 15% off. And if you buy 3 or more, you get 20% off!!!

I obviously ordered 3 pieces already lol. But THIS.IS.THE.TIME. to get those pieces you’ve been drooling over or for gifts for those people in your life that you don’t know what to get. Mejuri has never disappointed me and they’re like the only brand of jewelry that I wear now.

SWEATER – made it myself!

PANTS – TOPSHOP Petite

SNEAKERS – Gola at Free People

BAG – Nunoo

EARRINGS – Mejuri

That’s another outfit post from me! I hope you enjoyed it. What should I crochet next?! I’m currently crocheting some ornaments for my Christmas tree. I’ve also thought about crocheting a beret within the next few days. I probably should get to work or at least order the yarn for my first ever sweater order (can’t believe I’m saying this). But yeah, if you have any cool ideas that you’d like to see me attempt, comment in the section below!

Thanks for reading! Hope you’re all safe and well.
