Hey y’all! I’m back with another outfit post to share. I don’t have very many shots with this one because I wore it for the first time while I was visiting my family for the weekend. I loved my outfit so much that I pulled my boyfriend aside to take some quick photos before we went antique shopping lol.
This post is not sponsored but the jacket that I’m wearing was gifted by this brand from Montreal called Naïf. This is a gorgeous jacket called their “Indy Jacket“, and I think this is the first clothing item that I have ever been gifted! It’s definitely something special and I am truly grateful that they thought to reach out to little ol’ me.
For the outfit, what I wore underneath the Naïf jacket, is this pair of really nice joggers? I don’t know if you can all these joggers because they’re more of a trouser but they have a drawstring at the waist. They’re like event-appropriate pants but with the comfort of sweatpants/joggers? I don’t know! Either way, I am completely in love with them! They’re definitely a style that I have been loving lately. I think the light grey colour goes with everything and they’re from TOPSHOP’s Petite section, so they obviously fit perfectly. The shirt I wore with these pants is just a white tank from Free People. All of my white tank tops are getting old and they don’t look as white as they used to, so I made sure to pick up a few new ones. This one is super comfy. I’m really going to miss wearing tank tops. Now that I look back at this outfit, I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to wear an outfit like this again. Well, not until next year at least. It’s getting SO COLD. I’m waking up in the morning with a bit of a scratchy throat and that’s definitely a sign that it’s getting chillier.
Sigh.
The shoes that I wore are something new and exciting as well! I don’t think I’ve shared these with you guys yet. I made a weird and impulsive decision to get Nike Jordans lol. What compelled me to do such a thing? Instagram tbh. Luckily for me, I fit into children’s sneakers! I ordered a pair in a Youth Size 2. They fit perfectly. I’ve been sliding them on with a lot of my outfits lately. I might be some sort of a “sneakerhead” if I don’t watch out! Anyways, love these sneakers. I feel way cooler than I actually am in them and that’s always nice lol.
Now for accessories! Kept it minimal. I wore a rope chain necklace from my favourite store on Queen St. West : Durumi (@thedurumi on Instagram). I wore my everyday rings and earrings from Mejuri and finally, my latest Nunoo! This little baby was being sold on URBAN OUTFITTERS‘ website! I couldn’t believe it! I work for Free People and Urban Outfitters is a sister brand and therefore, I get a discount! To be able to get an employee discount off a Nunoo bag is a bloody freaking (you read that right) dream come true. You best believe that I’m going to be keeping my eye on any more Nunoo bags that make their way on to the UO website lol. This bag (I think) is called “Lin”. I haven’t quite come up with a name for her myself. She’s tiny, has silver hardware, and is made of the most beautiful textured black leather. She’s gorgeous! Although she cannot fit as much as my other Nunoo bags, I’ve been wearing her a lot lately because believe it or not, I don’t think I own a black bag! I think I kind of try my best to stay away from black so having a black bag was not something I ever thought I’d enjoy. It’s the sweetest surprise though! So happy to have another Nunoo to add to my collection.
