One of the things that I struggle most with during the transition from summer to fall is the fact that I have to wear pants. I’ve been really great with buying comfy pants during quarantine so I think I’ll be okay, but I still dislike it nonetheless. Pants are so restricting! I also dislike socks. I’m currently on the hunt for cute and cozy socks because all of my current pairs look like rubbish. Got any recommendations? I have some in my Urban Outfitters cart but they’re still $10 a pair! Does that seem unreasonable to you as well, or am I just cheap lol?
Anyways, the reason I’m writing is to share with you another outfit featuring one of my favourite pairs of pants at the moment. Not only do I love the stretchy waistband but I love this pleated texture and of course, it’s in a snake print! These pants are helping me shed the summer and slither into fall. Like what I did there lol? I’m seeing a lot of snakes, tigers, and zebras this season. I have a lot of other trends that I’m on the hunt for and I’ll be sharing a blog post all about them very soon! Stay tuned!
These pants are from the TOPSHOP Petite section (duh)! They fit so perfectly and they go with so many other pieces that are already in my wardrobe. I honestly didn’t expect them to fit so well but they do! I can pair them with absolutely anything: crewnecks, graphic t-shirts, cardigans, crop tops, bodysuits, etc.! They’re super versatile and they also make my butt look GREAT. Would I ever lie to you? Seriously, you need to get a pair of these!
For this outfit, I wore the pants with a top I got from work (Free People). I love the subtle stripes on it because it allowed me to mix prints! They’re both in neutral colours so I think they complimented each other really well. For a pop of colour, I added my first ever Nunoo bag. It’s in the best shade of pink. This bag has so much sentimental value that I will never get rid of it. It was a birthday gift from my boyfriend and I remember being super happy about it (and I still am)! To make this outfit more casual, I just added some $2 flip flops from Old Navy. For jewelry, I added some of my favourite Mejuri pieces, a Durumi necklace, and my Apple watch! I was really afraid that my Apple watch was going to be a waste of money because I find it pretty sporty-looking and just not my taste. But I got this strap from Etsy and I freaking love it! I think it’s so much more me and it really helps make the Apple watch look less tech-y and sporty (at least in my opinion). The final piece to this outfit is this cute headband from Durumi (@thedurumi). You guys know how much I love this Korean boutique downtown on Queen St. West. This headband is so cute and trendy and when I was shopping their website for more facemasks, I just had to have it!

Ugh! As I look back at these photos, I’m being reminded of how much I’m going to miss having exposed toes!!! It hurts but that’s the way it goes ha-ha. #rhymed #poet #didntevenknowit
I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend! I also hope you all have a great start to your week! :))
Until next time,
