Set For Fall (but not really)

I want to say that I’m ready for fall, but I’m absolutely not. With the way the weather is going, I feel like I’m really having no choice in the matter. I think I have to be ready for it whether I like it or not lol. It’s just getting so chilly! Like it’s 100% sweater weather. I just ordered some sweatpants that I’m going to try to make fashion. I’ve also tried looking into a proper winter coat. Why? Because at this rate, I think our winter is going to be ROUGH. I think I might need to invest in a full-on snowsuit!

However, the weather is still in the positives and we haven’t completely lost the sun yet. Daylight savings time isn’t until October, right? I think we still have a bit of time! I know I’m pretty much freaking out right now, but I do not do well in the winter. Winter depression is a real thing, folks. You’d think after 27 years of living in Canada I’d be well-adjusted by now, but I’m not. #summergirlforever

The real reason I’m writing today is to share with you guys another outfit post! These photos were taken a few weeks ago (back when things were hot and happier lol) and I am so upset that I won’t have more opportunities to wear this *set* this year! This is a cute little set from Free People. It’s called the “Oasis” set. It was returned to our FP location and I just had to snatch it up. I love it sooo much. They’re great separate as well. I’ve worn the shorts with a graphic t-shirt and the top with a pair of jeans. It was honestly one of the best purchases I made this summer because I got so much use out of it! It’s also in fabulous quality so I’m definitely wearing it again next year!

One of the best things about sets is that they’re like an entire outfit already put together for you. Like a dress, I only need to add some accessories and I’m ready to go! For this look, I added my Nunoo that I named Pearl (because she looks like a clam), and a cute pearl headband that I purchased last year from Amazon. And to balance out that fancy purse and pearl headband, I just wore my Birkenstock sandals to look more casual. Such a cute go-to outfit when you don’t have time to think! I highly recommend picking up a matching set.

Like I basically said earlier, I’m really going to miss summer and these golden hours. I really hope that winter isn’t as terrible as I’m afraid it’s going to be. I’m still a little worried about how I’m going to manage to get content in the winter time, but I have a ring light in my Amazon cart just waiting for me to bite the bullet! I think my best bet is to get some good lighting and take photos in my apartment. Again, if you have any suggestions or tips on how you take photos when it’s freezing outside, let me know in the comment section below!

I hope you all have the best weekend! I’m hosting my sister’s baby shower tomorrow, so wish me luck ha-ha!

Until next time,

– Tiny ❤
