Tiny In Toronto

I don’t know where Sunset Park is. If you know where it is, I’d love to know! What I do know is that this is the name of my new favourite cardigan! It’s the “Sunset Park Cardigan” from Free People. I am absolutely obsessed with the fit and the colours. I feel like this cardigan will remind me of all the beautiful sunsets I witnessed during the summer because whether I like it or not, it’s getting chillier here in Toronto and it’s getting chilly FAST *sadface*. The fit of this cardigan is amazing because I feel like I’m wearing a stylish blanket. It’s super oversized but I love that. When you’re tiny like me, you learn to embrace that everything is going to be oversized lol.

For the rest of my outfit, I think I’m wearing mostly TOPSHOP. If you’ve read my blog posts before, you know that me and their Petite section have a wonderful relationship. The top is this black crop top that I got a few years ago now. It has wide straps with these fab buckles that I think make the top a lot less boring (you can’t see them because they’re underneath the cardigan but trust me, they’re there lol). The pants are part of my quarantine pants collection. By that, I mean these pants are forgiving and do not make me feel like I’ve gained the weight that I’ve so unfortunately gained. WE LOVE a good drawstring waist, ladies!

The shoes I wore are my trusty checkered Vans slip-ons. I think I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again: I WILL ALWAYS AND FOREVER HAVE A PAIR OF THESE SHOES. I think they’re cool, stylish, and most of all, COMFORTABLE. They’re so easy to put on and I’m pretty sure I climbed a mountain in the Philippines in them lol. They’ve been there for me through it all, and they’ve also held up pretty well! The accessories I’m wearing are minimal (for me lol). I just wore my Ariana Grande inspired initial necklace. I think she wore a very similar necklace in one of her music videos and I went on a hunt for it. Last but not least, I’m wearing my favourite Nunoo bag: Frankie. We love her. I’ve had some issue where the dye of some of my clothing is rubbing off on her and thankfully I learned that a pencil eraser can get it out! Can you believe that? I googled how to get a stain out of a suede bag, that came up, and it works! If you didn’t know this, you’re welcome ;))

As it starts to get chillier, I’m starting to worry about how I’m going to be able to take these outfit photos during the Winter. Do you guys have any tips or suggestions? Maybe I need to get a light box for photos in my apartment? Rent a studio space? How much is it to even rent a studio space?
