Okay, maybe I’ve said this before, but this is probably one of my favourite weeks of outfits. I love the colours, I love the pieces, I just love. I’m really excited to share these with you so I’m just going to dive right in, oki?!
Outfit #1: I think it’s becoming a little too obvious that I’m a big fan of pink. What do you guys think? (#poet) This outfit makes it super obvious if I do say so myself lol. The star of the show is definitely my backstreet boys graphic t-shirt. I got this recently from work (TOPSHOP) and I think it’s one of my fave graphics yet! I love that it has a gradient of pinks. I love that it matches this pink denim skirt and my fluffy pom-pom earrings, and I love that I wore it all with sneakers. To calm the “pink-ness”, I added an overshirt/button down in a brown corduroy. I think it was a useful layer as well because the air conditioning at work can be a bit icy lol.
Outfit #2: This jacket is a dream. This was my first time wearing it and I had no clue what to pair it with. I thought that since it’s a pretty loud piece on its own, I should probably keep everything else plain and simple. I wore this blue denim pair of paper bag shorts and a fitted white t-shirt. For shoes I wore these old Birkenstock-inspired sandals with western buckles. To make the look *super* special, I added Nunoo (obviously).
Outfit #3: MY FAVE LOOK OF THE WEEK. Boyfriend said I look like a rapper. I disagree! I feel like you can never go wrong with an all-white outfit! I wore my white Mom jeans and a white tank. For some colour/to break it up a bit, I threw on (not literally) my cowboy boots and this cute purse I got for Christmas last year. It’s from Durumi (that cute little Korean shop located downtown that I am obsessed with). I also added my beaded necklace that I made myself and a couple of gold chain necklaces! Isn’t this look is so simple and so chic?!!
Outfit #4: I got this dress for $30!!!!! I’ve been wanting to try this long prairie-looking dress and sneaker look that I’ve seen on Instagram for a while now. I wasn’t sure how much I was going to love it so I couldn’t justify paying full price! I’m glad I waited because this dress from our Petite section got marked down for our Summer clearance sale and I had to pick it up right away! I actually love the look! Definitely not a look I wanna wear everyday, but it’s different! It’s also super comfortable. I think I wore this on the first day of my period and I felt so relaxed/didn’t feel self-conscious in it at all! It hides everything! I wore my sneakers from SSense, my Marc Jacobs bag that I bought myself for my birthday and more beaded necklaces.
Outfit #5: I got this long sleeve Zara shirt from Winners for $3. It’s a size small and I’m normally an extra-small but I thought I could make it work because like I said, $3. It’s a transparent/mesh-like top so I either need to wear something underneath or something on top. For this look, I chose to wear this denim dress/pinafore on top. I think these two pieces looked really cute with one of my beaded necklaces and Nunoo. And finally, for shoes I wore the same grey heels I’ve worn all summer. I’ve had these heels for a couple years and should probably throw them out once Fall’s officially here lol.
That’s it for this week’s “What I Wore Last Week”! If there’s anything you guys wanna see in upcoming blog posts, let me know! I love suggestions and I also love a challenge. I’m currently working on a post dedicated to Fall trends and everything you need to know going into next season! Hope you’re looking forward to it as much as I am!!
Until next time!
