What I Wore Last Week

YO AND HELLO! I’m in a good mood because I’m leaving Toronto to go to my hometown to visit my family and celebrate my best friend’s birthday tonight! I love the city but you know, sometimes there’s no place like home.

The outfits I’m about to show you are the ones I wore after a lovely trip to Montréal for 3 days. I enjoyed it so much and I thrifted for the first time in a long time. It really reminded me that it’s nice to have pieces that aren’t fast fashion pieces. Some of my best outfits are with treasures I found at a thrift store and I love that. No one will have anything like it or at least it’ll be a little bit harder for someone to. It’s unique! And searching for great finds is so much fun!!

Outfit #1: Speaking of outfits with treasures. I came back to work wearing only earrings from TOPSHOP. This is new for me!!! This dress is a treasure found at Talize and I wore it for my birthday a couple years ago. I think it’s the most beautiful dress ever. It fits me perfectly and I love that the colours of this dress look so good with my Nunoo bag! The other treasure in this outfit is this pair of cowboy boots. Yes, your girl got another pair. But I really, really wanted a black pair for a whillleeee. I tried these on in Montréal and they fit me like a glove! I had to have them.

Outfit #2: Another thrifted treasure is this scarf that I have used as a scarf (obviously lol), a headband and now a top! I love the print of this scarf because I think it might be from Italy. I pretend it is anyway. I paired it with my white Mom jeans to make it really pop, and my black heels. I also brought my Gucci baby back out to play lol. And finally, to spice it up a little, I added my bling from En Route Jewelry (@enroutejewelry_).

Outfit #3: This outfit wasn’t planned but I’m really happy with how it turned out! Have you ever seen my hair like this?! I kinda like it. I don’t think I wore anything thrifted so most of it’s from TOPSHOP. I wore this tiger graphic t-shirt with these wide leg denim pants with a cute little drawstring. I got these pants on sale for less than $20, I think. They were cheap and they’re comfy, so I think I’m going to get a lot more wear out of these! To add some colour, I added my red heeled sandals. I also added my Gucci bag, some heart-shaped pearl earrings, and this sparkly scrunchie.

Outfit #4: TOPSHOP has been getting these silk-like slip dresses all summer long but NONE of them have fit me right. I’m not 100% sold on this one either but I really, really wanted one so once I saw that this actually fit, I snatched it. I also love this shade of green because I don’t have anything like this colour in my closet. The only thing I have to complain about is that it snags on almost everything. I already have two runs/pulls in this dress after one wear and I’m super sad about it. To pair with it, I put a white tee underneath and added this new addition to my shoe collection: sneakers. I’m not a sneakers-wearing girl. I’m pretty sure you may have noticed that. I wear high-top Converse and checkered Vans lol. I felt like one “real” pair of sneakers wouldn’t hurt so I picked up this Adidas pair from SSense. They’re chunky. It took me two days to try and figure out if they were too big for my feet or if that’s just the way they are. I thiiinkk it’s just the way they are lol. To complete the look I just added my Marc Jacobs bag and hoop earrings. If you’re wondering about my sunglasses, this is a pair I got while in the Philippines but I think you can get these anywhere! I also have been wearing these sunglasses as a headband lately. The humidity and my hair are not friends.

That’s it for this week’s “What I Wore Last Week”! I hope you guys enjoyed it! Everything that I wear is usually from TOPSHOP unless otherwise mentioned! Any questions or blog post ideas are welcome in the comment section below :))

Until next time!

– Tiny ❤
