The last outfit of the last session with my friend Jemilla (@jemillajems). Writing this reminds me that I probably should schedule a day for more outfit photos soon!!!
I think I mentioned this in a previous blog post, but I bought these long wide leg jeans to recreate a look I saw on Instagram and I’ve been loving them ever since. They make my legs look longer and I love the slouchiness to them! They’re comfortable and as long as I wear something more fitted on top, they look great! These are TOPSHOP’s “Crop” jeans in a size 24/32. I normally buy my jeans in the Petite section in a size 24/28. These “Crop” jeans aren’t meant sit at your ankle (or for me, past your ankle lol), they’re supposed to sit a little bit higher, hence the name “Crop”. I was tempted to get a pair in a proper size as well just because I really like their silhouette/shape!
When taking some of these photos I found that some of the poses reminded me of a TV show I watched while growing up and it made me laugh. Do any of you remember “The Big Comfy Couch“? I look like Loonette The Clown in this one pose and it kills me. “Get ready for the 10 second tidy!” Please tell me some of you remember lol.
To pair with these jeans I wore an interesting bodysuit. I haven’t seen anything like this before and I feel like it’s the start of a tulle trend. This cute tulle overlay is so sweet and romantic-looking. I love it. I enjoy playing it down with jeans or making it more grungy with ripped jeans and combat boots or converse. It’s on sale right now for $20! Overtop I wore this thrifted blazer that I had not imagined myself wearing myself as much as I do when I bought it. I’m not complaining though! I love finding great pieces at the thrift store! I love finding great use for other people’s stuff :)) I’ve worn this blazer at least once a week since I’ve bought it and I am so happy with it.
