Hi!! I’m back with the second outfit taken by Jemilla (@jemillajems)! Most “Torontonians” know that in late April to early May there are cherry blossoms in High Park that last about a week to a week and a half. A LOT (and I mean A LOTTTTTT) of people enjoy visiting them during this time because they’re so pretty, and a great photo opportunity! I was one of the crazies that decided to go for a photo op. Gotta do it for the blog/’gram, y’know what I’m sayin’?? It wasn’t the greatest decision. I’ll be honest. We went on a statutory holiday which meant that the park was PACKED. It was really hard to get people out of the background of these photos so we had to get creative. I love how they turned out though! For future reference, however, do notttt go on a holiday if you’re looking to get nice photos. Kids be running everywhere.
I knew that we were going to High Park ahead of time so when I was planning my outfit, I definitely made sure to keep the cherry blossoms in mind. I thought a neutral outfit would let the cherry blossoms stand out so I chose an all-white look. I chose a plain white t-shirt, white “Mom” jeans, and okay, some red/non-white sandals for a pop of colour! Everything I’m wearing in these photos is from TOPSHOP. The white jeans and the straw/raffia purse are recent purchases that I am very happy with. I think I’ll get so much wear out of both of them this season!
That’s it, that’s all! I hope you guys enjoyed these photos and this outfit because it was a little tougher than usual to capture lol.
Until next time!
