Tiny In The Philippines – Day 5

Had to go back to “Yolk” because it was so cute, and I wanted to try another one of their dishes! My sister and I went and the waiters there remembered us right away aha-ha. To be honest, there aren’t very many options for breakfast around us. It’s Yolk, Jollibee (which doesn’t look as good as I thought it would), and McDonald’s. The waiters at “Yolk” thought my sister and I were from Spain. People here have thought that I am every nationality BUT Canadian ha-ha. After breakfast, we went to Starbucks because I am still so tired (even after being here for a week)! The Starbucks baristas here remembered us as well. I guess it’s obvious that we’re not full Filipinos. What’s funny is that they keep calling my sister “Alexa” when her name is “Alyssah”. We have yet to correct them though.

We spent the rest of “Day 5” at the pool. It wasn’t as sunny as we would have liked it to be, but I think I got a tan nonetheless! TBH it doesn’t take a lot of sun for me to get darker. After the beach yesterday, I AM SO TANNED – and there’s still more beach days to come!

The day was capped off with a few drinks and some dinner at “The Social”. My brother has been very chatty and friendly with all the locals that now he’s buddies with the owner! Her name is Jen and we’ve been there 2 or 3 times now! I’m trying to get better at pool.

I’m so excited to share “Day 6” with you! We had so much fun! I’ll try to get it up as soon as I can!

Until then,

  • Tiny ❤
