Tiny In Toronto

I feel like I’ve been absent for a while. I don’t really want to think about the last time I shared a blog post because I know it’s been far too long, but I do have reasons for this! A lot has happened since April. For one, I went to Florida! Second, I couldn’t think of anything to post besides another Friday Favourites post but it felt like it was too soon to share another. Thirdly, I was having a quarter-life crisis. Fourth-ly(?), I was pretty set on making the next post about my trip to Florida but it seemed a little daunting. I didn’t want to half-ass it (for the lack of a better explanation), so I kept putting it off for a time where I could really give it my all! I took so many pictures! I just wanted to paint the picture of my trip PERFECTLY. But that day never came. Work got a little hectic. I think Mother’s Day was in there somewhere so I visited my family in Trenton for a weekend..

Oh! My roommate and I created an Instagram account to share a “conequest”. We are passionate about ice cream (or eating ice cream lol) and decided that we’re going to try to hit-up as many ice cream shops as possible this summer! I GOT PROMOTED (kinda). I’ve taken on a new role at Topshop Topman! I am now my store’s Personal Shopper! I am very excited about it and ready to take on this role! It’s basically a free service that allows customers to come in and have a pampered, and kind of personal/intimate, shopping experience! I work one-on-one with clients and help them find outfits for multiple occasions! Recently I’ve worked with a woman looking for an outfit or two for a music festival. I helped another woman find an outfit for her birthday brunch! I also helped a guy who got a sick internship in New York and wanted an updated and trendy summer wardrobe!! I’m loving it so far! I don’t quite know what it is but I just really enjoy seeing people find outfits they love and leaving happy. Am I corny or wut?!

My final update: MY BIRTHDAY WAS YESTERDAY. Yes, I turned 25 yesterday and I’m feeling great! 2018 has been a great year for me so far, despite it being busy and keeping me away from my blog. I promise once things settle down, or when I come up with a better schedule, I’ll have consistent blog posts coming your way! My next post WILL be about my Florida trip! I don’t care if it’s two months later!! I’m also currently on a bus to Montréal for the weekend (my first time!!) so I’ll have a blog post all about this trip as well!! I’m so excited! Don’t lose faith in me! I still love to blog and I’m doing the best I can to keep ya’ll up to date!!
